An opening press conference to launch the World Education Forum event from a
United Palestine will be held this morning, Thursday 28th of October, 2010, at
10:30 am.
The location for the press conference is outside of the Old City of Jerusalem.
There will be speeches by Sergio Basole from the World Social Forum and
representative of Palestinian political parties, Rana Nashashbi representing
the WEF-Palestine secretary, Wasal Taha representing the Higher Arab
Committee for Palestinian Affairs inside the Green Line, Al Bustan Committee
(Silwan), and the General Secretary of the Teacher’s Trade Union.
