The WSF brought to roundtables in different African countries the need of including the theme accessibility in the work of various social movements. Organizations such as Handicap International, Viva Brasil, ESAPH and the Senegalese CRPH and ALPHAD took part in this edition of the WSF along with other associations. They were present in debates about housing, migration, education and communication aiming to clarify the broadness of the theme. Accessibility affects not only disabled people but many social actors. It encompasses at least three aspects: environmental surroundings, transport and communication.
