Free Media World Forum debates the aspiration of activists and communicators for a media more focused on social issues

The event will be on the 25th January, in the in Dante Barone Auditorium at the Congress building of Rio Grande do Sul, in Porto Alegre City.

The FMML represents a place for mutual support among independent media representatives, activists and communicators that long for and express a view of world events that goes beyond what is exposed by the commercial media of communication..

In the previous editions, names like Chokri Belaid, leader of the opposition against Ben Ali, Túnez ex dictator, Aaron Schwartz, cyber activist, and Fidan Dogan, de Kurdistan assassinated together with other two activists, in the Kurdoish Information Center ( CIK) in Paris, were remembered, so that no one else needs to die defending freedom of speech, so that all get free Access for the knowledge and sharing of information, as Aaron Schwartz sustained.

On the 25th, the preparation of the Free Media World Charter will be collaboratively started, and should be approved in 201, and will become the reference document for the communication militants and to the social movements that will gather in the World Social Forum.
